This chapter is a super-brief introduction to statistics. If you haven’t already seen statistics before reading this chapter, I’m not entirely sure you would follow along.

This is a short chapter on linear algebra. It’s relatively light on details and information, but maybe that’s because you don’t need that much linear algebra at this level.

I didn’t take a deep dive into this chapter because it coers matplotlib, and I know that the Python Data Science Handbook is going to hit this one pretty hard. Most of the information contained in this section is stuff that I’ve seen, and the minimalist cookbook approach he takes is probably not a good first introduction to it.

I thought the Python section of this book would be just a quick rehash of things I already knew. And for the most part, it is. But there are a few things that I picked up from this section that I think will be useful.

I felt kind of lazy this morning, so instead of getting out of bed right away, I did some reading.

Having spent a couple weeks finishing most of the setup of the blog, I guess it’s time for me to actually think about what I’m going to do next.
